Elvis Ediagbonya

A Musical Journey that Transcends Borders

Elvis, a name that resonates powerfully in the gospel music scene, discovered his passion for music at a very young age. Raised in Benin City, Nigeria, young Elvis showed an unwavering dedication to his keyboard. Despite his mother’s concerns about his academic performance, Elvis preferred to spend long hours honing his keyboard skills. Even when his mother tried to steer him away from music by hiding his keyboard adapter, Elvis wasn’t deterred; he simply got a new one, demonstrating his deep passion for music.

Elvis’s introduction to the musical world was driven by his family. At the age of four, his older sister introduced him to music, starting as a drummer in the church. However, it was the piano, taught by his older brother, that truly captured his heart. This love for music not only kept him engaged but also led him to sing in the church choir, laying the foundation for a glittering musical career.

Over time, Elvis became a producer at a prestigious studio in Lagos, where he collaborated with some of Nigeria’s most renowned gospel artists. He also played regularly at the ‘House on the Rock’ Church in Lagos, where his musical talent shone even brighter. In 2004, Elvis was sent to the Netherlands by his church to support the music ministry in Almere, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

Once in the Netherlands, Elvis continued his work with the church, while also founding his own production company, “Ediasproduction.” His talent as a producer and artist has led him to collaborate with prominent Dutch artists such as Dwight Dissels, Ruth Jacott, Berget Lewis, and Shirma Rouse, solidifying his reputation in the European music scene.

Elvis is not only recognized in the Netherlands; his music has reached audiences in Africa, America, Canada, and Spain, where he is known as a singer, music director, arranger, and producer. His career takes him to festivals, large church services, and television shows, showcasing his versatility and commitment to music.

Throughout his career, Elvis has released three albums: Prayer (2011), Victorious (2019), and Undeniable Love (2023). In addition, he has produced several singles and continues to work on new material, with a mission to connect people and heal hearts through his powerful music, positive outlook on life, and infectious smile.
