Ariadna Chevalley

A Lifelong Journey in Music

Ariadna Chevalley cannot recall a time when she wasn’t singing. Her musical journey began naturally in her parents’ church in Tenerife, where she sang in the choir and performed on various stages across the island from a young age. She later trained in classical piano and voice, pursuing studies in music education. Her passion for music led her to Barcelona, where she expanded her training at the Taller de Músics and earned a degree in Modern Voice and Jazz.

Ariadna has been part of several rock, funk, soul, and electronic music groups, but it is gospel music that truly resonates with her heart. She is currently the director of the “Passatge Gospel Choir” and a singer with the “Vocal Groove Barcelona” choir. Additionally, she teaches singing at the Taller de Músics and the Escola de Música Passatge.

Ariadna has also made a name for herself as a studio singer, recording Spanish-language tracks for animated films such as The Book of Life (20th Century Fox Animation), Fuchsia the Mini-Witch (Walt Disney), and theme songs for Arale and Dr. Slump as well as the children’s series Pispas. Her studio work includes contributing to the vocal production of El Guincho’s 2015 album Hiperasia.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, Ariadna has developed a strong pedagogical foundation. In addition to teaching Modern Voice and Jazz Technique at the Taller de Músics, she has taught modern and children’s music ensembles, piano, music theory, and music appreciation at the Escola de Música Passatge. She also collaborates with Bat Audicions Musicals, conducting musical auditions (rock, soul, ethnic music, music and solidarity, and Cuban music), and she conducts workshops annually for various associations in Switzerland.

Ariadna Chevalley continues to blend her roles as an educator, performer, and recording artist, sharing her love of music with students and audiences alike.

Ariadna is the singer of the choir “Vocal Groove Barcelona”, which was recently chosen as one of the three best “praise teams” in Europe by the American competition “How Sweet the Sound”.
